South Central Satellite Group

The South Central Satellite Group is a regional affiliate of ArtsWORK Indiana with monthly meetings in Bloomington.  Do you have a physical or mental challenge or disability, or are you interested in increasing opportunities for artists with challenges and disabilities? Join us to build arts career-related skills and promote supportive networking in Indiana's South Central region.

Meetings

Please note: This fall, South Central ArtsWORK Indiana (SCAI) is sponsoring  the workshop series Arts Mentoring and You: A Series of Workshops on How to Get the Most from a Mentor for Emerging Artists, Performers, and Writers with Physical or Intellectual Disabilities. (Registration is now closed. Read more about the workshop series.) Because of these special events and the timing of December holidays, we will not be holding regular meetings of SCAI during the months of September through December, 2012.

The next scheduled monthly meeting date is posted on the Events page. Meetings are usually held at 5:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Bloomington City Hall. Each meeting includes open discussion,with a presentation on some aspect of arts employment. Have a topic you'd like to hear a presentation about? Let us know.

These free events are open to artists of all disciplines (with or without disabilities) and their supporters. Help us set the direction of this group, share refreshments and make new friends.
