SPEAKER: Paul Neufelder
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Paul Neufelder is a Columbus-based painter and educator who has worked as an installation and scenic artist, arts administrator, as well as teacher. Having spent his adult life with quadriplegia, he’s been a role model and mentor to his students. Over a number of years, Neufelder worked with a young artist with autism, deafness, and epilepsy in his studio. The student’s parents relate that Neufelder not only developed him as an artist, but “transformed him into a mature young man, and transformed us as parents. Everyone should have a Paul.” Neufelder will depart for Bangkok in the fall.
