Professional Goal/Employment Objectives:
My goal is to work as an artist and a public speaker. I want to teach the arts to children with special needs. I love children and I work with them as a tutor and mentor at Purdue University Calumet. I\'d like to speak to high schools about drinking and driving, and to tell my story about growing up as a child with a disability.
Brief Statement:
I am an artist, a writer and actress. I have a bachelor\'s in communication and creative arts from Purdue University. In addition to acting, I\'ve done theatrical production and some playwriting. I write poetry and short stories. My art medium is watercolors, collages, and mixed-media. My art work has been shown at Purdue University Calumet. I have done public speaking to future teachers about disability awareness. I want to inform people that being a person with disability is not just feeling sorry for yourself. It\'s getting out there and doing things to make the world a better place.
